Digital Marketing Specialist

The Role:

Our agency is seeking an experienced, freelance digital marketing specialist to work part time with our creative and account management teams, as well as clients, on digital projects remotely via calls and emails. You will program and monitor digital media campaigns (programmatic, geofencing, paid email campaigns, SMS, etc.) and will stay up to date with digital media technologies and the latest trends. Other responsibilities include assisting in the development and execution of various digital tactics to improve campaign outcomes; and working with outside digital agencies and vendors to coordinate and implement programs. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage, populate and monitor digital dashboards with campaign analytics for clients
  • Generate pdf reports of metrics as needed for meetings and presentations
  • Implement and manage tracking as needed (QR codes, UTMs, tracking pixels, etc.)
  • Maintain and make updates to media plans and budgets
  • Produce and distribute emails via Marketo and other email management systems. Send file and review test prior to deployment
  • Assist with the development of digital brochures on cloud-based platform
  • Monitor and report on campaign KPIs, analyze and make recommendations for improvement
  • Create digital contest and sweepstakes entry form pages, monitor and report activity

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital advertising, digital marketing, web development or similar role
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, digital dashboards, mobile geofencing and/or digital media platforms
  • Knowledge of web design (HTML)
  • Experience with content management
  • Detail oriented with a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media or relevant field
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and Google Analytics
  • Agency experience a plus, but not required
